Soybean imports in China through Tianjin port soar 62%

The port of Tianjin in northern China exceeded a total of 2.72 million tons of imported soybeans from January to May of this year, which is 62% more annually, Xinhua News Agency reported on June 29. According to Tianjin customs, imported soybeans are used to squeeze oil and produce feed. As China's pig production gradually returns to normal after the collapse of African swine fever, so does the demand for pig food through the port of Tianjin. The main source of soybean imports in China continues to be the United States of America, whose volume is 90% of the total volume of soybean breaks through the port of Tianjin.
