Export of IVL devices is temporarily prohibited in Belarus
The Government of Belarus temporarily banned the removal of artificial breathing equipment from the country. The relevant decision of the Council of Ministers was published on 22 April on the national legal Internet portal. In March, Belarus banned the export of a number of medical products, now the ban has been extended to equipment for oxygen therapy and artificial breathing, as well as other therapeutic breathing equipment. The restriction applies to equipment regardless of the country of origin. The ban began on 22 April and applies to relations that have arisen since 20 April. Earlier, the authorities of Belarus imposed a ban on the export of protective clothing, respiratory and masks, glasses, gowns, bandages, vats, gauze until June 1. According to the news agency, by April 21 in Belarus more than 6.7 thousand infections of coronavirus were detected, 55 people died.
