In India, 3.9 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in 24 hours

The number of new cases of coronavirus infection in India has increased by 3.9 thousand over the past 24 hours. This follows from the data released on 5 May by the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Thus, the total number of cases infected in the country so far has amounted to 46,433, with 32,138 patients currently receiving treatment. Also in 24 hours 2,094 patient was cured of the new disease (the total number of recovered became 12,726 people) and 195 more died (a total of 1,568 deaths). It should be noted, according to the news agency, earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs of India extended the regime of self-isolation, operating in the country from March 25 of this year, until May 17.
