California recorded a record increase in coronavirus infected

In the US state of California over the past day, 7,149 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been identified, according to the state health department. It is reported that this is a record number of infected people identified per day since the beginning of the pandemic. In total, 190,222 cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection have been confirmed in the state. Also in June 24, 52 people died in California from COVID-19 complications. In total, 5632 patients died from diseases caused by the new coronavirus in the state. It is also noted that the number of hospitalized patients in the state has sharply increased by 29% over the past two weeks. According to The Washington Post, California is one of seven states where there has been a rapid increase in the number of new types of coronavirus infected.
