In Kaluga, a Moldovan citizen is suspected of killing a woman

In Kaluga, criminal investigators on suspicion of killing a 33-year-old woman detained a Moldovan citizen, a news agency in the Kaluga regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia told a correspondent on June 15. It was possible to find the 33-year-old attacker in hot pursuit using recordings of surveillance cameras and witness testimony. At the place of residence of a man in one of the houses on Zhukov Street, a search was carried out. Clothes were found in the apartment, in which the suspect was allegedly at the time of the crime. Forensic, genetic, fingerprint examinations were appointed in the case. The suspect was questioned with the participation of a lawyer. The man admitted to committing the murder and said that he met the victim and on the same day went with her to drink alcohol for garages, where there was a conflict between them. According to the detainee, the woman hit him, and the man broke a glass bottle and inflicted a cut wound to the victim's neck and fled the scene. The investigation intends to petition the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect.
