In Transnistria, the number of deaths from COVID-19 reached 45

Over the past day, another patient died of COVID-19 in the territory of Transnistria, as a result of which their total number increased to 45. This was announced on June 23 by the operational headquarters of the republic to combat coronavirus. According to the operational headquarters, an 80-year-old man died from complications related to COVID-19, who was admitted to the Bendery City Hospital on June 20 with a diagnosis of right-handed inferior pulmonary pneumonia, and later he tested positive for coronavirus. It is also indicated that the man had comorbid chronic diseases and, despite the best efforts of doctors, his life could not be saved. In addition, it is known that in Transnistria, a total of 1,158 cases of coronavirus infection were detected. Note, as reported by the news agency, earlier it became known that over the past day in the United States over 31 thousand new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection were identified.
