US expanded sanctions on Venezuela

Washington has decided to impose new restrictive measures against Venezuela. This was reported by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on July 2. As specified, the United States sanctions list includes four companies, three of which are registered in the Marshall Islands and one in Greece, as well as four vessels. Recall, on May 13, the U.S. authorities added Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria and the DPRK to the list of countries that allegedly do not cooperate enough with Washington in the field of countering terrorism.
