French Minister of Ecology criticized outdoor heating of terraces
French Minister of Ecology Barbara Pompili criticized the use of outdoor heating, which is an environmental deviation, reports BFM TV. The Minister of Ecology said that the government will ban outdoor heating in public places and on terraces. The minister criticized this practice, which, according to her, leads to a completely unjustified overspending of energy. We can't cool the street a whole summer when the air temperature is 30 C, and we can't heat the terraces to full capacity in mid-winter for the simple pleasure of having coffee on the terrace in hot times, Barbara Pompili noted. According to the news agency, earlier French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire said that 30 billion euros should be allocated for the environmental transition as part of a recovery plan, which in general will ensure the decarbonization of the economy, in particular, will lead to a reduction in SO2 emissions per unit of GDP.
