About 4.7 thousand entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan received a reprieve on loans until October 1, 2020. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market Nurlan Abdrakhmanov, the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reported on August 17. According to him, from August 3, the republic introduced a simplified procedure for considering and approving the application for postponement for entrepreneurs who suspended their work during the quarantine period. Abdrakhmanov added that as of August 10, banks of Kazakhstan approved 6,236 applications, including 1,542 on refinancing and 4,694 on deferral of payments. Recall, on March 26, the Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market adopted a procedure for postponement on loans from the population and entrepreneurs from March 16 to June 15.
